Always have in the past (not with VCDS) and never had an issue in the past.
Just looking for confirmation if I should worry or if I'm just an idiot, I checked/cleared codes with the car running.
P20EE (Nox Catalyst Bank 1) - 'Efficiency too Low'ĭid some Googling, P2201 should be throwing a CEL if it was an issue and ( from this thread) it more or less said to clear them with the car off, go for a drive, and then check again. It can be used on any VW, Audi, or Skoda model built after 1990 and provides full system diagnostics within your vehicle. The Autel MST505 OBD2 scanner is another reliable option for both Volkswagen and Audi owners. P2201 (Nox Sensor 1 Bank 1) - 'Implausible Signal' Autel MST505 OBD2 Scanner with Oil Reset. P0691 (Fan 1 Control Circuit) - 'Short to GND' It came back with three more 'Intermittent - Not Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear' codes. Not super experienced with VCDS so I decided to hook it up and play with it, and noticed some codes.Ī few stuck out that could be explained by a dead battery (dealer swapped the battery with a new one since it sat for a while), so didn't think much of it and cleared them. Got a 2012 Passat TDI with 40K miles for a steal, runs and drives great with no CEL.
